बारा– निजगढ नगरपालिकाको आयोजनामा पहिलो नगरस्तरीय अन्तर विद्यालय क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता आयोजना हुने भएको छ । निजगढ नगर खेलकुद विकास समिति र निजगढ क्रिकेट क्लबको व्यवस्थापनमा प्रतियोगिता प्रतियोगिता आगामी जेठ १७ गतेबाट सुरु हुने भएको हो ।
प्रतियोगिता निजगढ नगरपालिका वडा नं. ६ स्थित खेल मैदानमा हुनेछ । नगरपालिकाले २०८१ साल जेठ १ गते निर्णय गरी प्रतियोगिता सञ्चालन गर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो ।
यसअघि जेठ १५ गतेदेखि सञ्चालन गर्ने तयारी थियो ।
शिक्षा, युवा तथा खेलकुद शाखा प्रमुख उत्तम लामिछानेले मंगलबार एक सूचना प्रकाशित गर्दै मिति परिवर्तन गरिएको जानकारी गराएका छन् ।
यस प्रतियोगितामा निजगढ नगरभित्रका सम्पूर्ण माध्यमिक विद्यालयहरूको सहभागिता रहनेछ ।
यस कार्यक्रमले नगरभित्रका विद्यार्थीहरूको खेलकुद क्षमताको विकाससँगै आपसी मित्रता र सहकार्यलाई सुदृढ गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ ।
प्रतियोगितामा निजगढ नगरभित्रका विभिन्न माध्यमिक विद्यालयहरूबीच प्रतिस्पर्धा हुनेछ । यस कार्यक्रमको उद्देश्य विद्यार्थीहरूको खेलकुद प्रतिभाको विकास गर्नुका साथै आपसी समन्वय र सहकार्य अभिवृद्धि गर्नु रहेको छ।
प्रतियोगिता सफल पार्न विभिन्न सञ्चार माध्यमहरू समेत मिडिया पार्टनरको रूपमा आबद्ध भएका छन् । स्थानीय तहको अग्रसरता र युवा खेलाडीहरूको सहभागिताले खेलकुदको क्षेत्रमा नयाँ उचाइ थप्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ ।
First Inter-School Municipal Cricket Tournament to Be Held in Nijgadh
Bara, Nijgadh — The Nijgadh Municipality is set to organize its first-ever municipal-level inter-school cricket tournament. The event will be managed by the Nijgadh Sports Development Committee and Nijgadh Cricket Club, Ward No. 6. The competition is now scheduled to begin on June 30, 2024 (2081 B.S. Jestha 17).
Initially planned to start on Jestha 15, the date was later revised. This update was announced by Uttam Lamichhane, Head of the Education, Youth, and Sports Department, through an official notice released on Tuesday.
The tournament will take place at the sports ground located in Nijgadh Municipality, Ward No. 6. The decision to hold the tournament was formally made by the municipality on Jestha 1, 2081 B.S. (May 14, 2024).
All secondary schools within the Nijgadh municipal area are expected to participate in the competition. The tournament aims not only to promote physical activity and athletic skills among students but also to foster mutual friendship, coordination, and collaboration among the youth.
To ensure the event’s success, various media outlets have joined as official media partners. Organizers believe that the initiative, backed by the municipality and driven by active youth participation, will elevate the status of sports in the local area.
